Dear Friends

The motion to decide on the disestablishment of St. John's Innisville carried unanimously at the Special Vestry called for that purpose on Sunday, January 22nd. We will no longer be holding services at St. John's.

Thanks to everyone for your prayers and support. We were upheld by the Holy Spirit and knew we were not alone. Thanks to Tom and Myrna for sharing the gift of leadership, and for your service to our parish as we wind up this ministry and make plans for what comes next.

Today the Church was the Church, faithfully trusting in the promise of resurrection and new life. It's one of the hardest things I've ever done, and one of the most beautiful.

In Christ
